Underwater Vehicle + Infrastructure
Received a significant grant from Tyler Cowen (Emergent Ventures) to develop underwater robotics and
infrastructure. The goal is to create a prototype of an underwater charging dock for autonomous
underwater vehicles (AUVs) to charge their batteries while they are submerged. This will enable AUVs to
operate for longer periods of time and perform more complex tasks, eventually allowing for more
cost-effective, attritable AUVs for use in the military and commercial applications.
The goal is to build 2 AUVs and one charging dock to validate the system, specifically inductive
underwater charging. Will start manufacturing in early 2026.
